Description
Give yourself the gift of Nature Therapy. With the bustle of the holiday season over, give yourself the gift of rest and restoration while taking in the healing benefits of nature. Unlike hiking, birding, or nature education, in forest bathing you are invited to slow down, to engage your senses, and have a direct experience with nature. Learn more about Nature Therapy. On this walk, you will traverse towering pine forests in the crisp winter air. The walk will be less than a mile and will conclude with locally foraged tea, sweetened with maple syrup.
Trail/accessibility information: The maintained trails are unchallenging and comfortably wide. Underfoot the trail is blanketed by soft pine needles, uneven at times, and flat without hills or climbs. There are roots and rocks throughout. The conditions of the trails will vary from season to season and day to day. In the winter expect snow ice and snow. Dress in warm layers and warm, waterproof footwear.
